DePue is a village in Bureau County, Illinois, established in 1853 and named after a French fur trader, De Pue. The village’s Lake DePue is known for hosting the annual APBA Pro National Championship boat races, sponsored by the DePue Men’s Club, a non-profit organization chartered in 1982.
